World Thinking Day

What is World Thinking Day?

World Thinking Day was started in 1926. Each year on February 22, girls participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides/Girl Scouts in other countries. It is a special day in the Girl Scout year when we remember that we are part of a worldwide movement – the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). Each year WTD has a theme, visit website for details.

Ways to Participate

There are two different pages. WAGGGS has an international site with their own badge, but the official Girl Scout award that our girls can earn is on the GS USA World Thinking Day site.
