Service Bars

Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who are passionate about giving back can earn service bars. The Community Service Bar and the Service to Girl Scout Bar each require a minimum of 20 hours of service to one organization or Girl Scout activity/troop.

Community Service Bar

Cadette–Ambassador: Community Service Bars are earned by making a difference in the community and practicing Girl Scout values. First step is choose an organization to help. The organization will need to agree to give you instructions about the work you will be doing. Then get council approval before starting. Complete the online final report and then share your story!

Service to Girl Scouting Bar

Cadette–Ambassador: Service to Girl Scouting bars are earned by volunteering at least 20 hours for Girl Scouts. Complete the online final report and then share your story!
